Daytum for iPhone Lets Data Addicts Track Everything from Coffee Intake to Pushups

Daytum iPhone AppFor several years now, Data-tracking site Daytum has offered a free service for letting users track and visualize any kind of action, from monthly coffee intake to daily running distances. It may sound mundane, but Nike has hooked millions with the Nike+ service that lets runners track, compare and share workout data with friends. One of Daytum's biggest hurdles, though, has been data input -- Nike bypassed this with a sensor that automatically syncs with your account -- and a new free iPhone app should go a long way in making it easier track your data on the go. The app has full offline functionality and will work fine without a data connection, so you can sync all of your entries with your cloud-based account. The sleek app makes adding a new movie to your must-watch list or tracking a long workout easy with a few swipes and taps, and any of your categories (e.g. pizza slices consumed) can be quickly graphed and visualized from inside the app. Take it for a spin over at the App Store.
