Trendmap -- which searches worldwide tweets to locate trends, shared links and frequently posted pictures -- has a robust Libya map, complete with different keywords, like "Gaddafi" and "#Feb17." Real-time updates pop up while top links or frequently retweeted comments statically sit at the top of the page. Videos are embedded within the page, which means no jumping back and forth to YouTube (and missing critical tweets as they occur). Most interestingly, you can opt to "View Globally," which will allow you to watch certain tweets with denoted terms emerge from specific regions (which is incredibly cool... if you can understand Arabic).
